Congratulations Emma for taking 2nd place in the elementary school's fun run! She did great! The girl who beat her wasn't too far ahead of her. I told Emma I thought she could have beat the girl if she had sprinted at the end of the race instead of jogged, but Emma said her legs were tired- so c'est la vie! She's been saying all spring that she's the fastest kid in first grade because she beats everyone in her class, but she's still pretty happy about 2nd place. Way to go!
